CyberSlang Consulting/BIGEYE Productions consulted with the Color Maniacs group on a concept for their website and accompanying Blog design. Shortly after "go-live", there were literally hundreds of subscribers and contributors to the Blog.

The Color Maniacs site presents creative concepts and a wealth of information about color and its role in every day life. It also features a number of streaming videos dealing with color theories.

CALGARY BENJAMIN MOORE

Calgary Benjamin MooreCalgary Benjamin Moore was launched on October 23, 2009. This site, featuring Benjamin Moore's complete line of paint and stain products, is a collaboration between Calgary South Decorating and Southpointe Paint and Décor. These Benjamin Moore Signature dealers are very knowledgeable in all areas of painting and decorating, having years of experience in the field, as well as in-depth product support and training from the folks at Benjamin Moore.

Blogging has been around for a while. It certainly isn't new technology on the Internet, but in the Paint and Decorating industry, the Blog has been underutilized. Pat Struth at Calgary South Decorating and Dave Allen at Southpointe Paint and Décor have recognized this. To better serve their customers, and to share valuable finishing information with the gerneral public, Pat and Dave have added an innovative Blog called "Coffee & Paint" to their site.

Coffee & PaintUsing the popular WordPress open-source Blog engine, we were able to create a custom look and feel for "Coffee and Paint", efficeintly, and economically for Calgary Benjamin Moore.

Our thanks to Pat and Dave for putting their trust in our design staff. Working with them has been a pleasure. We wish them every success in their Internet endeavours.

CHURCHILL RIVER CANOE OUFITTERS Gets a New Look

Churchill River Canoe OutfittersRic Driediger, owner of Churchill River Canoe Outfitters is a legend amongst avid canoe trekkers. He has paddled just about every body of water in Saskatchewan, Canada's north, as well as many others in other provinces and the Arctic. Ric became a client in the summer of 2008. CyberSlang's staff members travelled to C.R.C.O.'s base camp in Missinipe, Saskatchewan to photograph the lodge facilities, and to gather materials for website content.

Each summer, eager canoeists travel from across the world to the tiny hamlet of Missinipe just to meet Ric, and to explore Saskatchewan's north with his fantastic staff. Their love and respect for nature, as well as their deep commitment to customer service is the reason why. CyberSlang Consulting is honored to be an integral part of C.R.C.O.'s marketing strategy, from logo and website design, to print.

The Wilderness WandererWe began working with Ric in 2008, making a trip to C.R.C.O.'s homebase in Missinipe, SK. to meet he and his wife, Theresa and his staff, photograph the camp, the area, and gather information to write content for the new website. In the summer of 2009, Zane Hrynewich, head of our design team, made two more trips north, again to take photos and compile content. The C.R.C.O. website was revised, and re-designed and the updated look was launched in October, 2009.

Ric is dedicated to the paddling lifestyle, and to promoting the literally hundreds of canoe trips available in Saskatchewan's far north. To this end, we have launched a companion Blog to the main C.R.C.O. site called the "Wilderness Wanderer". Through this Blog, it is Ric's desire to create an online clearing house for up-to-date canoe tripping information in northern Saskatchewan.

CRCO ONLINE STORE

CRCO StoreChurchill River Canoe Outfitters designs and manufactures a number of unique and innovative products for the outdoor enthusiast. Exclusive to them is a really cool Environmental Fireplace, which is portable, extremely efficient, and eco-friendly. C.R.C.O.'s Campfire Tent was developed through years of testing in northern Saskatchewan's Boreal wilderness.

Until now, Ric's products were marketed mainly through his office in Missinipe, SK. They were also featured on his website, but ordering was done via phone and/or email. Product images were poor and unavaiable for many items. During his last trip to Missinipe, Zane Hrynewich photographed Ric's complete product line, and returned to Saskatoon armed with the materials to build a true, secure online store for C.R.C.O.

HIRSHFIELD'S PAINT In-Store Kiosk/Shop At Home Marketing Solution   Our Visit to FOREST HOUSE

Hirshfield's DesktopHirshfield's Paint is a major paint, wallcovering, and windowfashions retailer, with several locations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota, USA. A major part of their retail sales is in the area of window fashions. Hirshfield's carries a huge selection of window coverings from maunufacturers such as Hunter Douglas, as well as their own in-store line. This required Hirshfield's in-store and Shop At Home design team to access dozens of large sample books, making customer care a little difficult.

CyberSlang Consulting partered with BIGEYE Productions to design in-store video kiosks, featuring a custom desktop for Hirshfield's, with all manufacturer samples represented in easy to access E-Books. Shop At Home designers now have all information on their laptops, making it much easier to showcase product to customers.

Forest HouseForest House is a magnificent Eco-lodge, located in Saskatchewan, Canada's far north. The CyberSlang team was very excited to be given the honor to design a new website for them, which was launched in January, 2009. We were even more pleased, when we were invited to visit this prestigious lodge to shoot photos and write more content for the site.

On July 2, 2009, our design team leader, Zane Hrynewich, and his wife, Velda, flew to Forest House via float plane for a three day stay. They were absolutely blown away! They spent their time hiking the many trails in the pristine Boreal Forest, enjoying gourment meals prepared with local ingredients such as, wild rice, cattail shutes, dandelions, and vegetables grown in the lush organic gardens at the lodge, and just plain relaxing. Zane captured hundreds of images of wildflowers and insect life. His assignment of embellishing the Forest House website was an easy one.
